In January 2011, Canon announced the A3300 IS and A3200 IS as replacements for the A3100 IS and A3000 IS in the Powershot range. On test here is the Canon Powershot A3300 IS which has more pixels and optical zoom than its predecessors and is available in silver, red, blue and pink for £122.00.

Sony’s Cyber-shot models have usually always been elegantly styled, with slimline bodies incorporating reasonably attractive specs within. The WX7 is no different in this respect, and is perhaps a bit more rounded than other Sony compacts that have come before.

Based of the success of previous Dual View cameras, Samsung is adding some new models to this lineup, including the ST600 and ST100. New improvements include a larger front LCD (1.8-inch from 1.5) as well as increased resolution to 14-megapixels.

Samsung‘s most compact dualscreen camera to date, the ST100 is quite different from past models in this line. It is sharing almost identical specs to the new ST600. Like the ST600, it features a larger 1.8-inch front LCD screen, allowing you to share images with your subjects or easily capture self-portraits.
