Panasonic introduces the new 2010 line of Lumix digital cameras, which includes the 12.1 megapixel Panasonic Lumix DMC FH1 digital camera. Actually it looks like a pretty cheap and moderately durable camera. It’s thin, which is very important, feels good in the hand, and has the controls in pretty well-placed spaces.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX78 (known as the FX77 here at the CP+ show in Japan) is an ultracompact decidedly marketed towards the female user base. Not only is it cute and petite, it also features the sure-to-get-laughs Makeup Retouch function. Is it worth at least checking out at your local camera store?
