Outwardly, the solid feel, pocket sized Lumix DMC-FX60(FX65) point and shoot from Panasonic appears identical to the FX40 model that preceded it, with no-nonsense boxy design, slim 19.4mm depth and metallic silver finish to our review sample. Panasonic has real form in making solidly built, pocket-friendly compact cameras. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS11 is a slim compact camera that is very fast and offers plenty of features to make it an easy-to-use everyday snapper. The diminutive Lumix FS11 weighs only 149g.

Panasonic introduces the new 2010 line of Lumix digital cameras, which includes the 12.1 megapixel Panasonic Lumix DMC FH1 digital camera. Actually it looks like a pretty cheap and moderately durable camera. It’s thin, which is very important, feels good in the hand, and has the controls in pretty well-placed spaces.

Similar to the FE-5050, the Olympus FE-5040 is an easy-to-use, affordable camera, but as well as being a touch bigger and heavier, it has less mega-pixels and less scene modes. Announced in August and available in silver, black, red and orange. A similar camera to consider at this price is the Nikon Coolpix S570.
