It’s not every day that I can recommend a camera based on a combination of use, price and features–usually I ride the fence on most every camera, issuing tepid recommendations and the occasional wag of a mildly disapproving finger. But the FujiFilm JZ300 is a different creature, and well worth recommending.

Fujifilm has released the FinePix J250 digital compact camera. This J series budget camera is based around a 10 Megapixel sensor, wide-angle 5x Optical zoom (28-140mm equiv) and 3.0″ LCD. It incorporates features such as Dual Image Stabalisation and Auto Scene Recognition. The J250 is available in a choice Silver or Black.
